The dry brush technique is one of the most accessible and optimal for beginners, and it can also make the process easier for experienced artists. You need to almost completely wipe the brush from the paint, so that only small fractions of paint remain on it, and then with light and quick brush strokes apply the brush to the edges and protruding parts of the miniature. Also this technique can serve as the final touch of paintingminiatures by adding the lightest available shade to the palette.
